NOW THE PRACTICE OF YOGA BEGINS
HEALING THROUGH YOGA
Yoga is the practice of creating unity between mind and body. When there's a disconnect between mind and body, our lives move out of balance, causing stress, fatigue and ultimately, illness. When you unify your mind and body through yoga, the reverse occurs. Your body can start to heal and rebalance naturally, helping you to feel healthier, happier and more alive.
Zuzana started yoga ten years ago as a way to undo some of the stress caused by overly dynamic lifestyle. Fascinated by the changes her body and mind experienced, she became a passionate yoga practitioner and later also a teacher that, however, never stopped being a student. She is commited to continues learning and self development and she feels privileged to share the teaching of yoga with all of her students.
Different types of yoga
Functional yoga focuses on improvement of movement quality. Initial movement screen reveals compromised movement patterns and asymmetries in the body. A customized corrective exercise program is then created to help improve those patterns.
VINYASA FLOW YOGA
A challenging, heat-building practice focused on continual, fluid movement in synchronization with the breath. It is one form of yoga that also helps you tone up and lose weight. It offers strength training, improves flexibility, relieves stress, inculcates proper breathing, gives you cardiovascular benefits and detoxifies your body leaving you energized and positive.
Therapeutic yoga is an effective practice for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. Combination of restorative yoga (supported postures), gentle yoga, breathwork, and guided meditation techniques reduces stress and helps to bring the body back into balance.
SUP yoga combines stand up paddleboard with vinyasa and hatta yoga asanas. The extra balance required by being on the water intensifies the yoga routine while the peacefulness and tranquility of floating on the water combines nicely with the meditative nature of yoga.
